We hope you’ve loved learning about our historical property!
Next to our Main Lobby are the Hospitality Room, Theater, and Coffeehouse. Many big time musicians played in the theater when it was a dancehall, a big attraction to the resort every weekend. People from town would come to go dancing. The original design for the theater is still intact today. Rudy Guenther lived in the apartment above the theater. The theater was built as a memorial to his father Fritz Guenther. A barbershop was between the theater and the coffeehouse. The coffeehouse had rooms for a bar, a card room, and a pool hall. Now, the coffeehouse houses a stage for local bands, musicians, and performing artists to put on concerts.
