KEY LEADERSHIP

Brandon Consalvi

Director

Brandon Consalvi accepted the Lord at age 18. After completing his studies in Religion from the University of Hawaii, he went into full-time ministry, working as an Assistant Pastor at a small church in Honolulu, HI and now as our Director. He is married and has two children.

Justin Thomas

Assistant Director

Justin grew up in a Christian home in Paradise, CA. At the age of 19, he began serving in a youth outreach in Folsom, California, as well as playing bass in Christian punk and hardcore bands throughout the late 90s and early 2000s. In 2003, Justin attended Calvary Chapel Bible College and soon after went on staff in the Security Department, where he spent five years. After getting married, his next ten years would be spent serving as a Guest Services Coordinator for the Conference Center. Justin left the Conference Center in 2016 to pursue a career as a Financial Advisor, but God called him back to MHS in 2019 to serve as the Assistant Director, where he supports Conference Center operations. He lives in Murrieta with his wife and their four children.

Scott Shiokari

Associate Business Coordinator

Scott was born in the Netherlands and was raised in the San Francisco Bay area. After graduating from Biola University in 2011 where he played lacrosse, he married his wife Meghan, who, as an RN, can keep him patched up after mountain biking crashes or soccer injuries. As one of the Associate Business Coordinators, he loves being able to support the saints as they construct their retreats.

Wesley Sabio

Associate Business Coordinator

Wesley grew up in a Christian home and was introduced to ministry at a very young age. In 2009, Wesley began studying at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta where he met his wife, Brittany. Together they have two beautiful daughters. He has experience in a variety of church ministries and particularly loves leading small group Bible studies. Playing volleyball is one of his favorite pastimes and he enjoys drinking coffee and eating Tim Tams. As one of the Associate Business Coordinators, he is excited to be part of the Lord's work as people are edified, equipped, and refreshed for further service unto the Lord.

Levy Czaja

Associate Business Coordinator

Levy was born and raised in Little Chute, Wisconsin. He went to Calvary Chapel Bible College in 2013, where he graduated with a Bachelors of Biblical Studies and had the privilege of serving on staff as the Dean of Men for a year. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, drinking coffee, playing basketball, and reading. As one of the Associate Business Coordinators, Levy is looking forward to partnering with retreat leaders as they organize and execute the vision God has given them for their retreats.

Kris Fogarasi

Dining Room Supervisor

Kris was born and raised in Serbia, Eastern Europe. He grew up in a Christian household but did not surrender his life to the Lord until the age of sixteen. When he turned fifteen, the Lord opened the door for his family to move to MHS, where his dad took a managing position of the auto shop. While in his fourth semester of Bible College, he began to work as a server in the dining room. After two years, he moved up to a managing position, in which he joyfully serves guests on a weekly basis. He is married and has a daughter.

Timothy Henderson

Campus Support Supervisor

In 2009, Timothy gave his life to the Lord. Shortly after becoming a Christian, he moved to Hawai'i and attended the Youth With A Mission Discipleship Training School for a year, which gave him the opportunity to live in Israel for three months. In the Spring of 2011, Pastor Brian Brodersen sponsored Timothy to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College for two years, from which he graduated in 2013. He went on to intern under Pastor Rod Thompson, director of MHS, and is grateful to serve the conference center as the Security Supervisor.

Trevor Johnson

Landscape Supervisor

Oldest of seven from Arizona, Trevor's life changed when he came to Bible College in 2012, as it was at that point when he began to truly live for the Lord. Working and traveling was his only foreseeable future, until he went on a missions trip to New York where he met his wife, Kelsey. They hope to glorify God as Kelsey helps create God-ordained families at her adoption agency and Trevor serves to create an oasis for refreshment for all of God’s saints through his job as the Landscaping Supervisor.

Historic Surroundings

Known for its natural hot springs, Murrieta Hot Springs was once a health spa and resort owned by Fritz Guenther. Guenther, a German immigrant, moved to New York with his brother after escaping the Franco-Prussian War. In the year 1902, after moving cross-country, Guenther purchased Murrieta Hot Springs. In the following 30 years, the Guenther family developed the Hot Springs into the ideal world-class resort and spa. In the mid-1900’s, Guenther sold Murrieta Hot Springs. Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa purchased the resort in 1995. Chuck Smith, founder of Calvary Chapel, led a huge restoration project. Wanting to protect and maintain the historicity of the facility, they salvaged as much of the grounds as possible. Murrieta Hot Springs Christian Conference Center has been up and running for almost twenty years now “refreshing the people of God” by offering an oasis for Christians in the greater Southern California area and beyond. The peaceful atmosphere allows for those who come to forget about their cares and retreat with the Lord.
